  • Spaying / Neutering

Reproductive sterilization is offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Your pet will need to spend the whole day with us to allow time for pre - surgical examinations, surgery, and monitoring during the recovery period. Drop - off times are from 7:00 a.m. -  8:30 a.m.

Pre - anesthetic blood testing is available on the scheduled day of surgery. The cost varies, depending on age and physical condition, from $21 -  35. All dogs over 6 months of age need a heartworm test or proof of receiving heartworm preventative prior to anesthesia.

Each animal is given a general anesthetic and is completely asleep during the surgical procedure. Each animal will metabolize the drugs at a different rate and therefore some animals (especially the younger ones) will seem quite alert and bouncy after surgery and some will seem more groggy.

Full discharge instructions will be given to you upon pick - up.
